Holbeche House care home can provide accommodation for up to 47 people who require nursing and dementia care Holbeche House is a Grade 2 listed building, the house was built in the late 1500`s and has well documented evidence of being the house where three conspirators of the Gunpowder plot were arrested. The House has many original features. There is an interesting lounge which has original wood panelling. There was also a "Priest" hole, this would have been used by a visiting priest who would have celebrated the Mass with the Littleton family. During this time in history the Roman Catholic faith was outlawed. You are able to view the tunnel that entered the Priest Hole. The House is located in semi rural surroundings. It has good road, rail and bus links to areas of the West Midlands and South Staffordshire. The main line rail station is at Wolverhampton a distance of 5 miles on the A449.. Holbeche House can accomodate 19 residents in single rooms. The majority of rooms have a small bathroom with a toilet and handbasin. Staff assisted bathing and shower rooms are available. Littleton House (Dementia Nursing) This house has 27 single rooms - the majority having a small bathroom with toilet and washbasin. Bathing and shower facilites are available. Holbeche and Littleton House enjoy views of the extensive grounds and farm land.
