"After a stay in RPH I was transferred to Thornton House for rehabilitation, Initially 6 weeks that lasted for 9 weeks.
I was initially a little apprehensive as I am a little younger. It was by far the best decision I made to accept the place there, the staff were fantastic, so dedicated and not one day did I feel they couldn’t help me, Physio again gave me their dedicated time and support and nothing was ever too much trouble.
The office staff made sure you got to appointments, saw Doctors, District Nurses etc as part of your stay, they were funny and made you very welcome. A tough job in all areas but always met your needs.
I experienced such warmth and friendliness as well as fun and laughter.
I went in under weight but the food was good and I enjoyed the choices, respected the staff and gave back where I could.
I was happy to be coming home but also sad to be leaving the best bunch of people.
If you have family in need of a great place to live this is where you should go and see, it has something for everybody.
Don’t listen to bad press, I would always be happy to support them….. A truly great experience with my new extended friends."
