ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - CEDAR LODGE
Cedar Lodge is a care home specialising in care for individuals living with dementia and can cater for up to 42 residents, including long term and respite.
You'll find Cedar Lodge in the peaceful outskirts of Taunton, overlooking a large park. Step inside and you'll find a warm welcome and a lively environment, with lots to see and do.
Our home is designed to help our residents make sense of their surroundings and interact and socialise. Walk along the corridors and you'll spot carefully chosen pictures and signs, memorabilia and instruments in the music lounge. We even have a clock that chimes just like Big Ben, an old red phone box and our beautifully decorated Victorian bathroom. Every detail has been carefully thought out.
The dining area is a light and airy social setting, where you can watch our rabbits play outside on the patio area. Our gardens are a lovely place to enjoy a quiet moment, join in our summer barbeques or discover colours, fragrances and textures in the sensory area.
