Our mum has been a resident for the past year after initially being fast tracked for end of life care.
Through their hard work and dedication mum has thrived and doing very well.
Having been profoundly deaf her whole life communication was never deemed as a problem and although difficult to start all staff have gone above and beyond to learn how to communicate and even learn some sign language.
The staff are lovely from top to bottom all working together as a team and one big family. Being regular visitors we have also been made to feel part of the family.
As we know with the Corona virus epidemic and the doors closed to visitors communication has been made especially harder but due to there thoughtfulness they have been video calling us enabling us to be able to still see and communicate and sign with mum giving a little bit of reassurance to us both which is invaluable not just to us but with so many other residents too who have also been benefiting from this service they have put in place.
It is this dedication that has in our personal experience made this home what it is and could not thank them enough for all their hard work. I would strongly recommend this Care home"
