Gallions View is a purpose-built home, comprising four separate houses providing a range of specialist care. The home is situated just near the River Thames, in a residential area just one mile from Plumstead.
The care we offer
At Gallions View, we welcome those funded by the local authority, private funding or NHS continuing care. We offer the highest standards of nursing care, nursing dementia care, convalescence, palliative, Parkinson’s disease care and respite. The home also provides specialist care to people with mental illnesses and welcomes residents aged over 50 with physical disabilities.

This modern nursing home is bright and spacious, with four self-contained houses specifically equipped to provide for the wide-ranging needs of their residents. All have access to the delightful landscaped gardens and the home is pleasantly located next to one of Thamesmead’s lakes.
Home life
Each of the four houses has its own well-furnished lounge and spacious dining area, where residents can meet up for a chat, watch television, entertain guests or simply relax and spend some quiet time. On sunny days, residents can sit in the delightful gardens. While privacy is respected, friendship and support are always in ready supply, both from the staff and from fellow residents.
We understand how important it is for our residents to keep in touch with relatives and friends. For this reason, visitors are always welcome, day or night, at the residents’ convenience. If required, we can even offer overnight accommodation to relatives. Guests are more than welcome to join residents for any of our daily activities, social events, excursions or simply join us for one of our delicious daily home made meals.
