ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - ASHVIEW NURSING HOME

Ashview Nursing Home is a delightfully picturesque home comprising a large old country house that has been extensively refurbished and is situated in a rural area on the outskirts of the village of Widford, between Much Hadham and Ware. The A1 lies to the west, the M11 to the east and the M25 to the south of the home.

It is a family run business and the operators are Award Winning (see article below) and have over 20 years of experience in successfully providing the care and support that their residents require.

Ashview has an exceptionally strong and welcome presence in the community and Ashview News is a regular feature in the local Parish paper and includes residents’ experiences of living at the home. Local villagers regularly come to Ashview and participate in functions at the home.

The home is registered to care for up to 32 physically frail elderly service users in need of nursing care and offers:

Nursing Care
Continuing Care
Respite Care

The home offers care for both private users and those who are referred by social services.

Our main aim is to provide person centred care by giving every resident the freedom to continue their daily lives with dignity, independence, privacy and the widest possible personal choice.

All the bedrooms have a washbasin and 14 have en-suite facilities. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing their own belongings and appropriate items of furniture.
Residents enjoy a good choice of appetising and wholesome food personally served by our skilled and friendly chefs and there are regular deliveries of fresh produce as well as home grown garden fruits and vegetables. Special diets can be catered for.

Please feel free to visit us or telephone the home manager at any time to arrange a viewing or for some advice.
