ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - YORK COURT
York Court is a new purpose built care home for older people in the heart of Battersea. The home caters for people with Nursing and residential care needs as well as specialist Dementia care. All residents will have there own room which can be personalised to their own taste. Modern technology has been used to promote the comfort and safety of our residents and all rooms have Televisions and phone points provided. To promote the dignity of our residents ll rooms have ensuite toilet and shower facilities which are spacious and designed in a way to promote independencen as well as providing room for equipment if required.
The home is built over three floors all focussing on different levels of care need with a view to providing a pathway of care which means that people will not have to move if their care needs change.
Each floor has its own open space with a courtyard Garden on the ground floor and Roof terrace on the next two floors.
We are very close to local shops, parks and have a library next door and aim to keep our rersidents actively involved in the local community.
