ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - SHORT TERM ASSESSMENT AND RE-ABLEMENT SERVICE
The Short-Term Assessment and Reablement Service (STARS) provides care and support to people in their own home for a short period of time as an interim measure. STARS can offer support for a maximum of six weeks to enable people to regain and maintain their independence through reablement, or whilst arrangements are put in place for the introduction of a care package on a longer term basis. The service accepts referrals throughout the Borough of Rochdale.
