Daniel Yorath House is a registered specialist neurobehavioural rehabilitation centre for up to twenty people aged 18-65 with acquired brain injury. It can also take people aged 16-18 and over 65. It forms part of the nationwide network of rehabilitation support services provided by The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT).The unit takes referrals from health, social care and primary care trusts (also known as commissioning bodies). Referrals are accepted from the whole of the United Kngdom.
Situated close to the city of Leeds, Daniel Yorath House is a specialist neurobehavioural rehabilitation centre for people with acquired brain injury. Opened in 1992, it was one of the first assessment and rehabilitation centres for brain injury in the UK. It forms part of the nationwide network of rehabilitation support services provided by The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT).
