Welcome To Clarence House Care Home
Clarence House is a 41-bed care home situated on the Norfolk coastline, close to the holiday town of Cromer with its famous pier and crab-fishing heritage.
A high proportion of the accommodation enjoys superb sea views, with the ever-changing light providing a relaxing backdrop.
Originally a renowned hotel, the home now caters for residential clients and has benefited from a newly landscaped sea frontage, providing access to the grounds for those residents able to take advantage of the short walk.
Clarence House has recently entered into an enhanced service agreement with Mundesley Medical Centre of Munhaven Close, an arrangement that will further enhance the levels of care provided to residents of the Care Home.
The arrangement provides for a GP to visit on a routine basis, every fortnight, to see a selection of patients on the day who would previously have been seen at the medical centre. In addition, a quarterly review will be held in conjunction with the Home Manager and senior carers at Clarence House, providing a proactive approach to the care that is offered.
Current developments at Clarence House include; new carpeting, re-decorating, upgrading of the communal areas, including the bathrooms with improved bathing equipment and a programme of improving the existing parking area.
The dining room is bright and cheerful, with views out to sea, and our kitchen has recently gained an excellent “scores for doors” rating of 5 from North Norfolk District Council.
