ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - YARBOROUGH HOUSE CARE HOME
Serving the community since 1983, Yarborough House is an established residential care home in Grimsby, offering care for the elderly and services to the local community.
My name is Marion Bourn and I am the Registered Manager at Yarborough House. Having worked in the care industry for in excess of 25 years and as a manager for almost 10 years, I have been able to draw on a wealth of experience to ensure that the care provided at Yarborough House is maintained to a standard of excellence.
Registered for 27 residents, Yarborough House is able to accommodate for those in Older Persons (OP) and Dementia (DE) categories. Residents and families alike continually comment on the homely nature of building. With three beautifully decorated lounges our residents, are spoilt for choice where they would like to relax. Our Sensory /Reminiscence Room looks onto our award winning sensory garden. Each bedroom is individual, decorated and furnished to high standards and personal wishes.
A highly trained complement of staff ensures that the each resident is treated with the utmost respect and is provided the highest standard of ‘quality care.’ Our dedicated activities coordinator ensures that residents are also continually mentally and physically stimulated. Activities may range anything from bingo afternoons through to wheelchair ice-skating, all to ensure that the residents still lead an active and fulfilling life at the Home.
Our Home can offer a range of services to include, day care, respite and short stays through to permanent residence.
