Woodcroft is located close to the town centre of Market Drayton in its own beautiful gardens surrounded by silver birch and pine trees.
The gardens at Woodcroft include a patio and offer lots of seating to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
There are 50 rooms at Woodcroft and we welcome people with or without dementia.
Darran Bolas the manager at Woodcroft has been nominated for several awards connected to his work for those with dementia, and recently won the Dignity in Care Award at the Great British Care Awards.
Darran is also a company spokesperson on Dignity in care as subject he feels passionately about.
There is a varied and interesting activities programme and a recently created reminiscence room to sit and chat about the gadgets and items from yesteryear.
The team at Woodcroft regularly hold meetings with the residents in order to make sure they are meeting their needs and expectations and that the Home is indeed their home.
Special diets are not a problem and the Catering Manager has been awarded a Gold Healthy Eating Award.
Woodcroft has adopted the Butterfly Approach which is an innovative look at people and life for those with dementia by using everyday events and activities as engagement,it stimulates the mind, aids mobility, helps with sleep patterns and can help with the reduction of medication.
