Whittington Care Home is located on the outskirts of Chesterfield and provides nursing and personal care for up to 48 older people with dementia.
Whittington care Centre is a purpose built home providing a high standard of nursing and Residential care for people with dementia. We also provide periods of respite care for your loved ones to give home carers a much needed break.
Whittington Care is situated in Old Whittington,near Chesterfield with in easy reach of all amenities and local transport.
Our aim is in providing a home to home feeling with every daily living activity along side are dedicated Activities Coordinator who will meet and discuss your loved ones interests. We invite professional entertainers to visit and the gardens are always a favorite,
Your pets are always welcome to visit.
Our person centered approach means that each resident is an individual treated with respect and dignity along with any cultural or or religious aspects of their care needs.
The Home Manager Karen Gilbert has been in the home for the past 12 years she encourages residents to make their own choices including making their own sandwiches and choosing what they would like to eat by picture cards.
The home has a hairdressing and treatment room.
We understand the demand and time and care that goes in to caring for some one with dementia that’s why we would like to offer you the chance to come along and experience some of the fun and caring committed staff who can share your concerns and help to make things a little easier for you.
