ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - WHITEOAK
Whiteoak Respite Service is a spacious 15 bedroom property situated in the Fagley area of Bradford, overlooking Fagley woods with proximity to local shops and transport links.
Whiteoak has been designed to cater for people with learning disabilities who require a short break with specialised support facilities.
The service is divided into three suites enabling the service to support people with different needs.
The Peach Suite has six bedrooms and aims to support users who use wheelchairs or have difficulties with mobility. This suite also supports people who have complex health issues including physical disabilities and those who have gastrostomies. The suite is fully accessible with tracking and an adapted bathroom.
The Lilac Suite has five bedrooms and supports users with mild to moderate learning disabilities.
The Green Suite has four bedrooms and aims to support service users with behaviour that can be challenging.
The three dedicated suites have their own lounge, kitchen and dining areas and private and safe accessible garden areas.
Whiteoak also has a fully fitted industrial kitchen and a cook. We can support users with all their dietary needs. We have a shared activity area which has disco equipment, games, craft activities and a multi sensory area.
Everyone has their own person centred plan to ensure that they get the most out of their stay.
