Water Royd is a care home providing personal and nursing care. Accommodation is provided for 63 people. The home is situated in the residential area of Gilroyd, Barnsley. Water Royd House provides nursing, dementia, day care, palliative care, residential/personal care and respite care. The bright and airy two-storey home can accommodate up to 48 nursing and residential residents. A dedicated and specifically designed dementia unit called ‘Memory Lane’ can accommodate 14 residents in single en-suite bedrooms. Memory Lane has been decorated with the comfort of each resident in mind and has small lounge and dining areas to provide residents many opportunities to socialise.
