ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - WALSINGHAM - BEECH AVENUE
Walsingham is a national charity supporting people with different needs across England and Wales to have a full life.
Beech AvenueAt Beech Avenue, we support eight people with learning disabilities, tailoring our support to meet the needs of each individual.
Our fully-trained and DBS-checked staff team are experienced at supporting people with complex needs including non-verbal communication, sensory impairments, physical disabilities, mobility issues, epilepsy, autism and behaviour that challenges.
We provide support for 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including sleep-ins. Our flexible approach means that we can adjust the level of support according to the needs of each person.
Located in a quiet area of Egremont, Beech Avenue is a purpose-built bungalow which is fully accessible for people who use wheelchairs. The spacious property includes five ensuite bedrooms, one fully accessible bathroom, a lounge, dining room, kitchen, sensory room, conservatory and garden.
Adjoining the bungalow is a house with three further bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen, dining room and garden.
We actively support people to take part in the local community and are close to local shops, leisure facilities and places of worship. We also hold activities at Beech Avenue, including music sessions and massage.
