ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - VOYAGE (DCA) (EAST 2)
Voyage Care have experience of supporting people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries and other complex needs, both at home and in the community. We provide support to people across Norfolk from Great Yarmouth to Wisbech. We can provide support for nursing and personal care needs. All our staff are subject to appropriate checks and are given specialist training tailored to the needs of the people they support.
We can support individuals with varying needs from a few hours a week if they live on their own or with their family, to full time supported living in their own home or in their parent’s home. We have also supported parents with learning disabilities to care for their children and helped them to learn cooking skills and strategies for routines.
We can help you to find out about education and job opportunities in your area and support you through the application process. We can then help you to travel to and attend college or work, if you wish.
We also have experience of supporting people to find somewhere to live, look after their home, find out what benefits they are entitled to and manage their money. We can put you in touch with landlords in your local area who may have vacant tenancies and can support you through each stage of applying for a tenancy and moving to your new home.
