Victoria Park Care Home (Derbyshire)
Situated within a beautiful part of Ilkeston in Derbyshire, Victoria Park is a converted Victorian House which was once used as the Miners’ rescue centre.
Victoria Park Care Home provides Nursing, Residential and Respite care.
We understand that meals are a very important part of our Residents’ day, our menus cover a variety of choices for each meal and a choice of snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are also available 24 hours a day.
Hobbies and interests
Our Activities Co-ordinator spends time with Residents to ensure popular pastimes are included within the weekly activities calendar, this includes:
• Arts and crafts
• Quizzes
• Professional entertainers
• Local school performances and shows
• Animal therapy
• Birthday celebrations
• Special and themed events
• Church services
• Seasonal events
Residents also enjoy organised trips to places of interest.
Many of our Residents find the one-on-one time with our members of staff particularly enjoyable.
Outdoor areas
The open and secure patio area complete with comfortable seating provides tranquillity for Residents to relax or socialise with family and friends.
