ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - VALLEY LODGE CARE HOME WITH NURSING
Valley Lodge was purpose built in 1992 and purchased by Ashmere in 1997. The property was extended in 2008.It has 61 bedrooms, 59 single rooms, 51 of which benefit from en-suite facilities. There are also 2 double rooms, 2 with en-suite available.
Valley Lodge has an Extra Care Unit devoted to the care of those with dementia. Our specialist unit provides a safe and secure environment with only twelve residents, allowing the very best care to be delivered by staff. We have the same staff in the unit to ensure our residents always see a familiar face.
We aim to provide a friendly and caring atmosphere.
Our staff will support residents in making decision on how they want to live their life. We recognise the importance of maintaining relationship with family and friends and we support recipients in pursuing hobbies and interests by offering a variety of activities.
