ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - TRELANA

Trelana provides nursing, residential and dementia care for older people in a homely environment. We assess the needs, goals and wishes of each person and provide care that meets their requirements.


We offer the highest standard of care and access to a variety of services, activities and facilities designed to support people to increase independence and enrich their lives.


We enable people to maintain lifestyles that are as similar as possible to those enjoyed at home. We encourage regular interaction with the local community, including contact with friends, family and local groups. We encourage friends and family to be involved through regular visits and participation at special activities and events.


We provide a wide variety of leisure, social and recreational activities for residents to participate in if they wish, these include bingo, card games, live music and sing-a-long sessions. We hold a weekly church service every Monday morning and often accompany residents to outside venues for services or gatherings whenever possible.


Throughout the year we hold open days and fetes, where we invite the local community, relatives and professionals to visit. Other events include table top sales, raffles, live music and cake stalls. We also have regular visits from our own hairdresser and chiropodist.


Meals times are an important part of the day at Trelana. Our experienced catering staff prepare a varied menu of fresh home cooked food every day and we cater for individual likes and dislikes from a cultural, religious or choice perspective.


Our friendly, dedicated and highly trained staff team of nurses, care staff and Home Manager are available 24 hours a day.
