ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - THE WILBERFORCE TRUST
The Wilberforce Trust is a service that supports people with a visual or other sensory impairment to live as independently as possible in the community. Some people also have a learning disability. People who currently use the service live as tenants in shared houses in a supportive living setting. Each house has a team of workers who support the people living there to live fulfilling lives and to achieve their goals. There are six of these houses in York and three in Tadcaster.
