ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - THE WESTBURY RESIDENTIAL AND NURSING HOME
The Westbury is situated in a peaceful residential area, just half a mile away from the town of Westbury in Wiltshire.
The care we offer
This elegant, purpose-built home is well designed and specifically equipped to meet the needs of older residents. The Westbury also provides care to people aged 16 and over with physical disabilities. Along with residential, convalescence, palliative and post-operative care, we also look after those with Parkinson’s disease. Respite is an additional care service offered.
Key features of The Westbury
The Westbury has the character and size of a period building, with high ceilings and large, well-laid out rooms. It also has a beautiful garden that residents can help to maintain if they wish. We have a greenhouse, a sensory area and a lovely patio with outdoor seating - perfect for residents to sit and enjoy the good weather.
Bedrooms
Our bedrooms are all attractively decorated and furnished to a high standard. They include en-suite facilities, remote-controlled televisions, thermostatic radiator, smoke detector, telephone point and a 24-hour call system. Some also have a view over the delightful gardens.
Room to relax
Residents can choose to relax in one of our comfortable and well-furnished lounges. They are an ideal place for residents to catch up, watch television or simply spend some quiet time. Each resident has their own key carer assigned to them. They will take time to get to know them, their background, interests, tastes and care needs in line with their unique personal care plan.
