ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - THE NEWLYN RESIDENTIAL HOME
Newlyn Residential Home is an independent, privately-owned Thanet care home providing professional, compassionate care in a firendly, homely and welcoming environment. The care home is registered with CQC for 13 people who require accommodation for personal care.
We aspire to provide our residents with a 'home form home' experience where they can retain independence and personal freedom and lives their lives with enjoyment and fulfilment.
We aim to treat all our residents as we would wish to be treated ourselves. We believe that although an individual can no longer live alone it should not mean any loss of privacy, dignity or respect.
Mrs Linda Goldsmith has been the Owner and Registered Manager of the care home since 10 June 1993. Mrs Linda Goldsmith has many years' experience of providing expert care to older and vulnerable people in a homely and family atmosphere. Everything is geared towards ensuring that our care home's residents are happy and enjoying a fulfilling enriched life. Our overall aim is to provide dedicated, personal care, tailored to individual needs. We provide full support to relatives and friends and they are able to visit anytime. We also offer the opportunity for relatives to have a meal with their family member at the care home, all we ask is that you provide us with reasonable notice.
We accept residents on a short term basis as well as provide long term placements. We welcome clients who may be local authority-funded, individuals who pay for their own care as well as clients who are in receipt of NHS Continuing Care.
