ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - THE MANOR HOUSE
The Manor House Nursing and Residential Home is registered to provide accommodation for up to 50 people requiring nursing and/or personal care. The home is centrally-located in the village of Chatburn in the beautiful Ribble Valley. The village has good local amenities including a primary school, a church and a chapel, a post office/general store, butchers, takeaway, hairdressers, florist, ice-cream shop, two beauty salons, two pubs and a garden centre with cafe.
The home has three lounges, a large conservatory and three dining rooms. There are two passenger lifts and two stair lifts providing access to the upper floors. The grounds are accessible to clients and car parking is available on site.
We have a full range of regular activities taking place in the home including regular religious services of various demoninations, exercise classes, craft sessions, musical entertainment, reminiscence quizzes and art therapy. We also arrange regular outings which have included barge trips on local canals, visits to the Southport Flower Show, and musical shows at the local church, schools and The Grand in Clitheroe.
