ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - THE HOLLIES CARE HOME
The Hollies Residential Care Home provides quality care for the elderly in a comfortable and dignified environment, offfering care for 22 in single rooms.
We aim, through a committed and expert team of staff, to provide our residents with a homely environment in which they can enjoy, in a dignified manner, the comforts and security of being well cared for and looked after, knowing that they are secure and amongst friends.
The management and staff of “The Hollies” are responsive to the needs of all our residents, and we accept as a fundamental that “The Hollies” should be their home for life. In this, we recognise that the care needs of our clients may change over time. Our registration with the Care Quality Commission is as a residential care home for the elderly, including elderly residents with limited mobility and with mental confusion, and whilst we are not a nursing home, we feel able to provide a very high standard of care which may be supplemented by a client’s visiting G.P. with input from community nursing staff and other care resources as required.
“The Hollies” is located to the south east of the city, in close proximity to central Cambridge and to recreational facilities, shops and churches. Addenbrookes Hospital, one of the largest and best equipped in southern England, is less than a quarter of a mile away. Our objective is to create an environment where you receive the highest standards of care, where dignity is respected, where talents and individuality are encouraged and where life for those who are elderly may be enjoyed to the fullest potential.
The Hollies aims to provide you with care in a safe, friendly, warm, secure and supportive atmosphere.It will be our job to ensure that you will feel you are “amongst friends” and that your family and friends can always be sure you are living in a safe, effective, caring responsive and well led place staffed by a trained team committed to the highest standards for all.
