ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - THE GRANGE CARE HOME
The Grange Care Home is a converted and extended Victorian house, which was originaly built in 1890 AD. The Grange provides accommodation for up to 35 people who require nursing or residential care. The home is situated in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Colne close to shops on a main road bus route.The Grange is located within the county of Lancashire providing professional, compassionate care in a friendly and welcoming environment.
We are more than just a nursing home, we strive to make it our residents' home, a place where they can maintain their independence and personal freedom and live their lives with enjoyment and fulfillment.
We aim to treat all our residents as we would wish to be treated ourselves. We also aim to provide person centred care and ensure that everybody has choice, privacy and that their dignity is respected.
FSHC have many years' experience of providing expert care to older and vulnerable people in a homely, family atmosphere. Everything is geared towards ensuring that our care home's residents are happy and our overall aim is to provide dedicated, personal care, tailored to individual needs. We provide full support to relatives including the opportunity to visit at any time.
We accept local authority-funded clients. The Grange also welcomes day care visitors too.
The local area provides plenty of amenities and places of local hisorical interest. There are good local transport links and there is also a mini bus available to help our residents access the local community.
