ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - THE GRANGE
The Grange Centre provides accommodation for, and personal development opportunities for adults with a physical disability, a learning disability, post brain trauma or autism spectrum conditions. Support may be with 24 hour care in our Gloucester Lodge home ‘on site’, or depending on abilities, with our Supported Living services as tenants in our housing association accommodation which is mostly single occupancy flats. Some of our Supported Living service is ‘on site’ and some is ‘off site’ in Bookham and the local community.
Service users can access our Skills Training facilities, which include creative art and textiles, catering, horticulture and woodwork. There are also opportunities for individuals with a disability who don’t live at The Grange to access our Skills Training facilities service on a sessional basis.
The Grange has many of its service users undergoing ‘work experience’ in the local community and guidance in finding work for those who are ready and wanting these challenges.
