The Cedars Nursing Home is a Nursing Home, registered with the Care Quality Commission for Social Care Inspection caring for frail, physically disabled residents who require nursing care.
The Cedars Nursing Home prides itself on providing care for local townspeople who have lived in or around Shaftesbury throughout most of their life, ensuring they feel "home from home", living their life in familiar surroundings.
We strive to meet our residents' needs and wishes in a sensitive and caring manner. We provide a warm, comfortable and secure atmosphere for elderly persons who no longer feel able or have the desire to live on their own.
Our aim is for all of our residents to enjoy their own life style as far as possible, with experienced staff giving help and advice should it be required.
Above all, we invite you to come and talk to our residents who are our finest testimony to our time honoured virtues of care, diligence and cheerfulness.
We have 30 bedrooms spread over two floors. All of our rooms are very well equipped but we can accommodate a small amount of furniture if our residents would prefer to have their own.
Cost must not be a problem to those who have insufficient capital to pay for their own care. Our policy is to set fees for those as agreed by Local Services.
