ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - THE CEDARS
The Cedars is a private nursing and residential home situated in the busy market town of Bourne in South Lincolnshire next to the Bourne Abbey Church. The main building was built in 1887, and remained the Vicarage, and part of the Bourne Abbey Estate until 1982. The Home is set in mature gardens with the Bourne River Eau running through them, providing a peaceful haven for all to enjoy. The Cedars is registered to provide nursing, residential and respite care for up to 56 people.
The Cedars has been extended over recent years. We offer single room accommodation with en-suite facilities, some with walk in showers, on the ground and first floor. All rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished and come equipped with TV/DVD.
The Ground floor is comprised of the Reception area, and two spacious Lounges, both leading out to the beautiful gardens. In addition there are two large Dining Rooms and a superb Garden Room with large TV for movie time and Activities.
The First Floor also offers a quiet lounge for moments of reflection and relaxation, easily accessible from the resident rooms.
