The Cambridge is purpose-built and was extensively refurbished in 2008. The home is ideally located in the beautiful Chesterton area of Cambridge, with shops and riverside amenities nearby.
The care we offer The Cambridge offers the excellent standard of care that you would expect from a Bupa home. We provide nursing, specialist nursing dementia care, and convalescence care. We also provide care for those with Parkinson’s disease, as well as palliative care and respite. The centre employs only registered nurses and well trained care assistants, who provide professional 24-hour care and support in a respectful manner.

The results of the £750,000 refurbishment programme can be seen everywhere at The Cambridge. New décor and furnishings, the latest equipment and warm new lighting throughout, have completely updated the home for the benefit of residents.
Well equipped, homely bedrooms Bedrooms are all for single occupancy, and have attractive new décor and furnishings. Every room features an electric profiling bed, enabling the resident to get in and out of bed more easily. All rooms have ensuite facilities and a television, a telephone point, thermostatic radiator, smoke detector and 24-hour call system. Some also have views of the beautiful gardens.
