ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - TADWORTH GROVE RESIDENTIAL AND NURSING HOME
Tadworth Grove is a purpose-built home, situated in a pleasant residential area next to an open heath. The shops and amenities of Walton-on-the-Hill village are less than half a mile away.
The care we offer
At Tadworth Grove we provide a high standard of residential and nursing care, residential dementia care, nursing dementia care, convalescence and palliative care and respite.
Food
Shortly after every resident’s arrival, we will discuss in detail their dietary requirements and preferences. Our experienced chef will then cater for their needs. Appetising, nutritionally balanced meals are prepared daily and cooked using fresh ingredients. A tasty, varied and seasonal menu is provided each day with a choice of hot or cold meals. Residents can choose to eat in the sociable dining rooms or in the privacy of their own rooms if they prefer.
Activities
Residents’ interests and levels of ability are taken into account by our dedicated activity co-ordinator. These could include gentle exercise with a professional trainer, card games, bingo, gentle gardening and musical afternoons.
Visiting entertainers and singers perform regularly; a magician has also provided entertainment, while a beauty therapist offers regular on-site pampering sessions. Residents might go to the theatre, to a local pantomime, or for tea and cakes in the village. We have a special themed event every month that is always tailored to the different capabilities of residents. This ensures that everyone gets to enjoy something that interests them.
