ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - SYDERVELT LODGE
Sydervelt Lodge provides care and accommodation for up to five people who have learning disabilities.
We actively encourage people to be involved in their own care, support and development. We actively promote and empower the people who live at Sydervelt to learn new skills and develop current skills.
Socialising with other residential homes via our Social Forum and befriending other service users, including going on holidays at least once a year.
We provide the following range of services:
Support for adults to achieve what they can and celebrating what is possible
Support for people with a learning disability
Support for adults with associated conditions such as associated complex needs
Support for people to make choices
Support with personal care
Support and assistance to ensure service users keep in contact with relatives and friends
High quality support that meets people’s needs
24-hour provision of support
A safe, warm, clean and comfortable home
Strong partnerships with other care providers and service commissioners
