Staveley Birkleas is a privately owned nursing home specialising in offering professional, compassionate care in a friendly and welcoming environment for adults with various physical disabilities from the age of 18 upwards.
Staveley Birkleas was initially two separate homes, which opened in 1983 and 1986 respectively by the family run Czajka Care Group, which still owns and manages the home to this day. In 2004 the two homes became one following a number of adaptations and the completion of a purpose built annexe, creating an environment where people can move easily around the home and outside.
As part of the Czajka Care Group, a family run care provider established in 1983, Staveley Birkleas has a philosophy of care that ensures that residents can enjoy and retain their independence, freedom, right to choose and live their lives with privacy, dignity and respect.
It is this philosophy combined with a well trained and dedicated staff that makes Staveley Birkleas a home for residents to live and enjoy their lives with a range of activities and events in comfort and with peace of mind.
