Situated in the pretty village of Staplehurst in Kent and surrounded by extensive wooded grounds, Staplehurst Manor is a fine example of a Georgian country house, which has been elegantly converted. The home has recently undergone a refurbishment and now provides the latest facilities in a warm and welcoming environment.
The care we offer Staplehurst Manor offers nursing care, short stay and convalescence care, care for those with Parkinson's disease, and also for people with palliative needs. We employ dedicated, well trained staff to provide 24-hour care and support in a professional and respectful way.
Manager information Staplehurst Manor is managed by Louise Foster, who is a Dual Registered Nurse and has worked at the home for over 19 years. Louise has the Registered Managers Award, NVQ level 4 and continues to keep up to date with best practice. She recently took specialist training in Palliative Care and Dementia Care.
Food Meals are an important part of the day at Staplehurst Manor, and we offer a wide range of dishes on our daily menu, made using only fresh ingredients. All our menus are nutritionally checked, and our chef caters for all tastes and diets, visiting each resident soon after they arrive to discuss their preferences and any special requirements they may have.
Residents can eat with others in our elegant dining room which overlooks the garden, or alone in the privacy of their own room if they prefer. Our menus also celebrate traditional days and events throughout the year, from Pancake Day to Mother's Day and Christmas as well as residents’ birthdays.
