ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - ST JOHN'S COURT

St John’s Court is an impressive Grade II listed building which overlooks the town of Bromsgrove and commissioned as a care home in the 1980s.  Set on the edge of Bromsgrove town centre the home offers nursing and social care for up to 42 people of both sexes who require care by reason of the physical and social problems of old age.

 Aims and Objectives: The Care Provided

The management and staff at St John's Court endeavour to provide consistently high standards of professional care in order that  residents who have chosen to live in our home can live as normally as possible, where their individuality, independence and dignity are respected and upheld. Where a resident lacks capacity, sometimes or always; the provision of the Mental Capacity Act, 2005, are adhered to at all times.

We aim to use our extensive experience to maximise the potential of each individual resident within a homely and friendly setting.

At St John's Court the team provides care for older people who, for physical, health, or social reasons are not able to care for themselves or be supported at home by family and professional carers. Nursing and social care are provided 24 hours a day and the home is fully equipped to cater for people with high dependency needs who may require end of life care.

We wish to provide the highest quality of care, and have worked towards and achieved in June 2008 the Investors in People Award. Following reassessment in June 2011 the Trust meets or exceeds all of the indicators of the Investors in People Standard.
