ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - ST ANNE'S COMMUNITY SERVICES - HEATHERSTONES
Heatherstones is a purpose built bungalow in a quiet residential setting overlooking Savile Park Moor. The home provides nursing care for eight adults with learning disabilities and is wheelchair accessible throughout. It has ceiling tracking in all eight bedrooms and in the communal areas. In addition the bathrooms are adapted to suit those with mobility needs.
The home is divided into house 1A and 1B. Each property has accommodation for four people, with separate kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom facilities.
Heatherstones was recently awarded Gold Standard Framework status in recognition of the high quality support it provides to people with complex health and palliative care needs. The service offers a relaxed and friendly home environment with a strong emphasis on providing individualised nursing care and support to the people living there.
Heatherstones is able to provide a very specialist level of support to the people who live there. All Clients have an individualised person centred plan which supports them to achieve their desired lifestyle.
Everyone living at the home is treated as an individual and supported to make decisions and choices in all aspects of their life. Family and friends of Clients are welcomed into the home and their contribution is valued.
