ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - ST ANNE'S COMMUNITY SERVICES - GLENHOLME
St Annes Glenhome is a respite home which can provide accommodation for up to 14 people at any one time. The home provides respite for adults with a learning disability,living in the Calderdale area for up to six weeks and short stay accommodation for a maximum of three people for up to nine months.
Glenholme is situated in a village on the outskirts of Halifax. Glenholme is a large building with good sized rooms, there are 4 rooms downstairs, the remaining rooms are upstairs. These can be accessed by a lift.There are 2 large lounges downstairs. One is used primarily as a games room. We also have a smaller lounge upstairs.
You will still be able to access your day services (if relevant) whilst at Glenholme, and we can offer transport to help you to get there if needed.
During your stay at Glenholme we are able to offer a wide range of activities such as pool,air hockey, and various crafts and games. We also have a computer for guests to use and a Wii.The staff will also support you to enjoy leisure and social activities out in the community. Glenholme has a mini bus which can be used for social activities.
