ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - ST ANNE'S COMMUNITY SERVICES - CLOUGHSIDE
Cloughside is a registered nursing home situated in the village of Walsden on the outskirts of Todmorden. It provides personal care and support for seven people with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge. The home is spacious with secure gardens that provide a private leisure area.
As a registered nursing home we have around the clock qualified R.N.L.D. nurse cover and are intensively staffed to meet the diverse needs of clients.Each client is allocated a qualified “named nurse” who is responsible for assessment of needs. This ssessment considers general needs and specific support around behaviours. Planning andimplementation of support is through person centred approaches.
The home has two people carriers which allow clients to access the wider community whilst excellent local public transport links also facilitate community participation and presence.
