ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - ST ANNE'S COMMUNITY SERVICES - BENEDICTS
Benedicts is a 20-bedded Nursing Home with special provision for people with a learning disability whose overriding need is for specialist health care intervention.
Nursing staff trained in either learning disabilities or general nursing are supported by a team of carers providing a high standard of holistic care 24 hours per day. Special adaptations provided for the less physically able include disabled toilets, ceiling track hoists,Arjo and Parker baths, ramps and handrails.
We have our own adapted minibus which enables our clients to access the facilities in the community and pursue interests such as college, hydrotherapy, outings and holidays.
In house, we offer a leisure and recreation programme, aromatherapy, reflexology, chiropody, hairdressing and a Snoezelen environment.Clients access the services of local GPs and we liaise effectively with other health professionals, such as the Community Physiotherapist, Dietician and Occupational Therapist.
