ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - SOUTHBOROUGH CARE HOME
Southborough Care Home provides 24hour care to the elderly. It is a newly registered care home and is located in the centre of town. Transports links are walking distance as well as many shops along Moulsham Street and the local museum some 10 minutes walk away. It boasts a beautiful seculded garden with chairs, tables, swings, arbours and it sheltered and shaded by trees. The home is very small and for this reason is very personal and able to provide personal centred care for each person. The rooms are spacious and vary between 12sqm to 18sqm. There is a passenger lift and stairlift on site. The home has two lounge areas and one is located at the front of the building and one at the back which overlooks the garden. A chef if employed 7 days a week and ALL FOOD is cooked from fresh daily. All diets are catered for and wishes accommodated. All staff undertake a 12 week training programme and must complete their care qualification to a minimum standard of NVQ2. The home has a fully asssited bathroom, or shower room or walkin bathroom.
