Cary Brook is located in the popular market town of Castle Cary, close to shops and local amenities. Cary Brook is a 45 bed property that provides an environment especially adapted to ensure the safety and security of residents who are experiencing problems with mental frailty and illness associated with dementia. We maintain close links with the local community through fundraising events and in the provision of services and group visits to our home.
We have created specially designed PETALS wings providing environments that support the person-centred approach to care.
Although each of our specially designed wings has its own identity and individual name, they all share the corporate dementia care philosophy and name 'Petals'. The name represents the key elements of dementia care within the company, namely: Person-centred; Empowerment; Trust; Activities; Life History; Stimulation.
