Sefton New Directions - Chase Heys Resource Centre is a purpose built establishment providing accommodation and personal care for 31 older persons. The care home has 20 respite places and 11 intermediate care places [places supported by rehabilitation services from the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG)].
The Aim of this service is to provide high quality Respite Care which allows carers to have regular breaks from the physical and emotional demands of their caring role and thereby assist people to remain living at home for as long as possible.
One of the main objectives of the service is to provide a responsive service to meet the individual needs of carers/service users by offering flexible admission and discharge arrangements. This includes emergency situations where urgent respite is required for a carer
