ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - SAXLINGHAM HALL NURSING HOME
Saxlingham Hall is a magnificent manor house set in over four acres of carefully tended lawns and gardens, providing both short and long term care for up to 38 elderly people.
Accommodation is arranged over two floors, which overlook the lawns, garden and surrounding countryside. On the ground floor there are 13 rooms available, while the upper floor comprises of 22 rooms, offering a selection of spacious single rooms with en-suite facilities or a choice of double rooms that are particularly suitable for couples. Our double rooms also make an ideal setting for individuals who wish to have the benefit of more personal space and are available at an enhanced rate. Rooms are equipped with a 24 hour nurse call system, television and telephone point – individual telephone services can be provided on admission at a favourable rate. Two passenger lifts provide access to both floors.
Residents can relax in our comfortable sitting rooms where they can meet for coffee or watch television and enjoy the outstanding view of the grounds and surrounding countryside. There is extensive car parking with easy and level access to the home.
There is good provision for specialist equipment and adaptations to meet the individual needs of residents, which are serviced regularly and kept well maintained.
We have recently installed Wi-Fi to enable residents to maintain closer links with relatives and the wider community.
There are no set visiting hours. We welcome the families and friends of residents to the home at any time and support residents in maintaining these links.
Our aim is to provide a full and stimulating lifestyle for our residents that satisfies their expectations and needs through the provision of a flexible and adaptable environment where residents are encouraged to continue making choices and retain control over their lives.
We provide 24hr nursing specialising in palliative care which is delivered by our team of experienced registered nurses and care staff.
