Rosewood provides residential and dementia care for people over 65 in a supportive and therapeutic environment.
The team at Rosewood works in a person centred way to identify their individual goals and focus on enablement and the promotion of personal dignity in a safe and respectful environment. We ensure people receive the highest standard of care to suit their individual needs.
Rosewood has a homely and welcoming atmosphere and we strive to make the experience a comfortable, fulfilling and enriching one for everyone who stays with us. Our care team are able to assist people 24 hours a day, ensuring that they receive as much or as little help as they need.
At Rosewood we provide a wide variety of leisure, social and recreational activities such as quizzes, reminiscence, bingo events, karaoke, crafts, painting, and film nights. Rosewood also holds regular events including garden parties, barbecues and cheese and wine evenings. Trips outside of the home include visits to the cinema, local pub, theatre and outings to the country side depending on wishes of the people we support.
Meal times are an important part of the day. Our experienced catering staff prepare a menu of home cooked food every day and we cater for individual likes and dislikes from a cultural, religious or choice perspective. We have a daily change of menu and room service is also available. Meals may be served outside on sunny days and assistance with feeding is available. Visitors are always welcome to join us for meals.
