Tarragon Gardens is a residential home without nursing. We are based in Birmingham, West Midlands and have been providing quality support from this location since 2002. We provide a 24hr residential service for up to 4 deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing men and women under 65 years of age with a range of needs including physical disabilities, mental ill health, learning disabilities and autistic spectum disorder.

Our speciality is enabling the people we support to maximise their independence using positive risk taking, person centred approaches and total communication in all aspects of our care planning and review process.
This is what CQC said about us at our most recent inspection:
People were able to express their views and were involved in making decisions about their care and treatment. We saw from people's care plans that risks presented by people's complex needs and conditions were identified. These risks included isolation and withdrawal from the help and support of staff. Plans set out an approach that balanced people's rights with their safety and these were signed by the person. We observed care staff supporting people in the ways that the agreed plan directed.
