River View provides personalised nursing and residential care for older people with dementia, physical disabilities, as well as end of life care. We provide care that is of the highest standard and is tailored to meet individual’s needs, wishes and choices.
We enable people to maintain lifestyles that are as similar as possible to those enjoyed at home. We encourage regular interaction with the local community, including contact with friends, family and local groups.
We believe that leisure and social activities form a central part of people’s happiness, health and wellbeing. We have a dedicated activities co-ordinator who organises a range of activities designed to maintain people’s independence and enhance their quality of life. Outings are also regularly arranged for the residents, as well as trips to the library and other local amenities.
Residents at River View also have access to a range of services including hairdressing, chiropody, and an optician.
Meals are an important part of the day at River View. Our catering staff offers a varied menu of fresh home cooked food every day and we cater for individual likes and dislikes from a cultural, religious or choice perspective.
