Risby Hall Nursing Home is a nursing home for older people in the village of Risby, providing the regulated activities of accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care, diagnostic and screening procedures and treatment of disease, disorder or injury to 34 people. It is run by The Partnership In Care Limited.
Risby Hall practices excellent person centred care with the aim of enabling all individuals to thrive in long term care. We recommend that you visit us to see for yourselves the Home we have created.
The home is situated in the attractive village of Risby, which is just three miles from the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds. Risby itself offers two antiques barns, a coffee shop and two public houses. Bury St Edmunds is an attractive town which boasts the cathedral and abbey gardens, there is also a twice weekly market.The home is warm and welcoming by friendly caring staff and features of the farmhouse and outbuildings from which it has been converted remain attractive features to this day. It is surrounded by pleasant gardens and a pond attracting various wildlife.The residents enjoy the large open day room, while they can rest in their room should they wish. The home has recently been developed to include a reminiscence room and is undergoing further refurbishment.Risby Hall has qualified nurses on duty throughout the 24 hour period and a number of care staff have obtained their NVQ 2 and 3 in Care. The home also has designated activities, catering and housekeeping staff who undertake training to support the caring friendly environment for residents.Each resident is assessed prior to admission to ensure their individual needs can be met. Once admitted we have an open visitor policy where relatives and friends can visit when the resident wishes.
