ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - REABLEMENT-EXTRACARE
The reablement service works across the whole of the Wigan borough. They receive referrals mainly from social workers and occupational therapists. It is the aim of the service to work with people to improve their ability to carry out everyday tasks that they are currently struggling with. This ensures that people are given the opportunity to maintain their independence, health and well being.
