ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - QUEENS LODGE
Queens Lodge is a care home that has two separate houses. Queens Lodge provides respite care for up to 10 younger people with learning disabilities. Southview, the adjoining house provides care for up to 10 older people who have learning disabilities and require residential care. The houses are both registered as the same location with the Commission as Queens Lodge and the report reflects what we found in both houses. On the day of inspection, there were nine people living at Southview. One person receiving respite care was able to give their views; the remaining five were not present.
