ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - QUEEN ELIZABETH'S FOUNDATION BRAIN INJURY CENTRE
QEF Neuro Rehabilitation Services has provided specialist services for people with acquired brain injury (ABI) at its Surrey-based centre for over 20 years. Programmes are residential or non-residential and include intensive neurorehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation and education support. Outreach services are also provided.
The service is registered to accommodate up to 28 people. Accommodation is organised across a range of buildings ranging from independent living facilities to supported living for the more dependent person. Each of the bedrooms are designed for single occupancy.
At Banstead Place our multi-disciplinary team offers intensive rehabilitation programmes to match the needs of the individual at whatever stage of their rehabilitation journey. Our approach is client-centred; clients are empowered to work towards their goals, exercise choice, plan for their future and maximise independence. They attend 1:1 or group sessions to develop their cognitive, communication, physical, social and functional abilities and vocational skills.
